I take it like you havent forgotten about the GMT +9. Its strange though, no game should be that problematic. Usually fiddling with NTLEA solved my issues if everythng else didnt work.

For Kagetsu Tohya though you would need to read Tsukihime before it, as it doesn't really make much sense without that context.

I wouldn't say I'm addicted to these games. But the problem is mainstream titles get translations on their own, so I just wait a week or so and play the latest Monster Girl Quest in english.
Niche releases that nobody gives a fuck about from 3 years ago aren't going to get those translations, and I don't have much reason to play those until after I've finished my the games already in english.

A smarter way that makes it hard to tell exactly what they're doing is if they take a single frame or screenshot from a game or video as it's playing, encrypt it, break it up, and send it piece by piece over a few days or whatever. Humans wouldn't look at it, but their various bots would. Why would they do this? It's saleable information that companies are willing to pay money for.
