Holy shit no, it has god damn good mobbing for its range, use Assault Buster, Slide Shaker and Speed Rain. There's other Volg combos for moving targets/weakpoints like Sacred Assault Assault. Volg Slide Zenith is still the most pp:damage and dps, but it requires a still boss.

volg + zenith is the most pp efficient combo, while other combos cost too much PP for the damage.

Wired lance can trash some bosses quicker since heavenly fall is quick easy damage+invincibility if the slam can actually connect while holding current is large damage that can be landed from a distance at the cost of mobility. The biggest problem with the weapon is how finicky these PAs can be.

Their mobbing isn't really great compared to partizan/sword's but they're the only HU weapon with a suction PA in the form of other spin. Other Cyclone's craft may make it more worthwhile but who knows.

Anyway I'm playing HU again. I'm not sure where you guys are getting the idea where HU mains using their weapons trump BO's weapons vs bosses. I can kill rodos with boots faster than Partizan/wired lance, the boots being ideal and the partizan/wl being seiga/ideal respectively

I feel WL is ok for bossing, but its most defining tool is Holding Current. It's the quickest way to get a fat chunk of dmg, if you don't have alot of time to Volg combo before the Volg explodes.

An example would be when doing PD and your group is above average, resulting in breaking parts too quick for your volg to explode. That's when Holding current would be useful.

It's basically the same as Elemental Weak Hit skill on the Techer tree, but weaker.

They were originally 700AC, then they went to 350 for ages when instant transfer was a thing, then they stayed at 350 for a long time, but with character storage they went back up to 700 because it was more profitable considering people would pay more to transfer 300 items with them.

yes. 500 AC for 350 permanent spaces (if you're anything but a cast/caseal), or 500AC for 500 spaces that last a month.

Accessing it is much less convenient, although it should be fine for anything you don't plan to actually use any time soon
