If not, what I find to be a good starting point is this:
Drag your mouse from one side of your mousepad to the other, in-game.
Your character should spin about 360 degrees.
Then adjust from there.
Want two spins per full mouse pad swipe? Go for it.

If you're comfortable with it, then it's not too high.
But I'd say you're probably sacrificing a lot of minute accuracy and tracking ability with sens that high.

Who yells at you? I play bastion on payload defense and almost always get 25+ kills. Unless the enemy team is hard-countering you bastion is a perfectly acceptable pick. If mercy dickrides your nuts you're basically unkillable.
