how do the masteroverwatch.com rankings work? I played Soldier a lot when I was learning the game and was really shitty, but he has a really good ranking. And I'm a lot better on Junkrat and he has a terrible ranking.

What are your hopes for the ranked queues?

I mean reaper has a flatter skill curve than genji, but he's overall worse. In a lobby of complete retards with a complete retard controlling him, reaper will come out better than genji would, but in a halfway decent lobby genji is going to be way better. There are sniping nests reaper can't even reach without using teleport, which is just going to be a free point-blank headshot for whoever he's trying to kill if they're actually looking around. Genji on the other hand doesn't even always need to go up since he has range. Reaper is very clearly the worst offense class, even if he's simple to play. Saying reaper is good because he's seemingly idiot friendly is like claiming bastion is meta or something.

He really isn't. McCree beats him 1V1 but a Reaper on your flank, if you have several characters together on the point, is more dangerous than a McCree on your flank. Reaper is much better at chaining kills quickly and wiping out pushes.

Guinsoo and Icefrog are both people who worked on the official DotA one map. Icefrog is currently doing DotA 2, and Guinsoo sold his soul to china and does League.

Guinsoo's balance policy is to nerf anything that is good enough to change the meta.

Icefrog's balance policy is to use both nerfs and buffs liberally, with an eye towards growing the meta and increasing the amount of viable builds and strategies within it.

Icefrog has talent, guinsoo is a talentless hack, and league a joke of a game.
