Might as well try posting again from last thread. Anyone up for helping me transfer some stuff from one character to another? I fucked up my bleed build and would like to start over. I can drop stuff for you too if you need any items, but if you'd like, you could just back up your save after I give you the stuff (before you trade it back to me), and you'll get to hang on to a +2 ROF and a +2 Cloranthy Ring. why are there no faith weapons?

Saint bident gets like +20 damage at 60 FAI and is probably the weakest weapon in the game.

Ritual spear requires INT, deals magic damage, and casts sorceries even though it has an A in faith. Range is awful too.

A lot of weapons require faith but have no scaling for it.

So I full cleared from road of sacrifices, crystal sage, then turn around and went down to farron keep and abyss watchers and all the way to wolnir.

Full cleared everything without touching a bonfire run, and it gave me an idea.

Next time I NG cycle I'll do a no bonfire run, besides the obvious requirement bonfire of firelink shrine.

I hope 20 repair powders will be enough. Might have to cycle a second weapon.

Does anyone have any advice for defeating Aldritch as a sorcerer? He has crazy high magic resistance and all my attacks and melee weapons are magic based

Half the enemies and bosses are resistant to magic. Being a sorcerer in this game is suffering. Just summon someone and let them do the job for you.

nah it's fine, up until you get great chaos fire orb pyromancy is suffering and before you finish the game miracles are suffering

Sure, but for the first character it will have to be red/purple since I beat the area.

Ivory King was a garbage DLC whose only redeeming factor was the loot and Maldron.

It's not affinity. Those are Dregs. Which is actually a strong argument for "abyss = deep" since we know Carthus had an Abyss problem.

Does anyone here invade at NG cathedral of the deep? If so, what weapon upgrade level + soul level do you go with? A lot of people seem to miss the area until later so I'm wondering.

Who uses medium shields anymore?

Hosts that popped seeds were the best. Once you know the area, running from the horses is no problem. DaS2 had that issue where all the enemy AIs bug out and become much less aggressive if there was any friendly or hostile phantoms in the host's world, so they'd just kind of follow you around and rarely actually attack. You could tag all the horse spawns and then lead a train of 6 right into the host and disappear back into the storm. When the host tries to run, stop 'em with a greatbow and let the horses handle the rest.

I get pretty quick invasions at level 10, +2, by trying to invade at the graveyard at the beginning.

There are a fucking ton of great places to fuck people over in that area.
