on the final endurance gauntlet, use jet(or a jetpack if you have the x-01) to make the jump to the top of the containers to the right of the Mechanist's observation area. That will make you immune to all the melee, mines and explosive barrels. Your personal robutt will certainly die, but oh well.

I don't plan to do the final fight, just trying to get through the lair and find all the stinking holotapes, but shit, a fucking laser turret from, like, 100 units away grazes me with a couple laser shots and destroys all my health in two seconds.
