Is the online porn industry a ponzi scheme?

I've always wondered the same thing

Apparently people pay for porn, so if you have enough ads everywhere, someone will actually buy something

I feel like the structure of most civilizations is built upon the concept of a ponzi scheme.

I run a porn site, this is not how it works.

Free porn sites sell ad space. These ads redirect users to either cam sites or paid porn sites. So These sites make money by selling cam currency, or through paid subscription.

In addition, most money is made through affiliate links. For example when I send a user via my ad and they sign up to a $30 a month subscription, I'll make 50-75% of that money for the duration of their subscription.
