I have never once been 1, 2, or 3-shot in any PvP matchup on any of my characters in my entire 215 hours played. I'm more surprised you kill them that fast than anything.

Maybe when you hit things with melee lightning spears. Other than that, the only fun spells they have are WotG and Force. Divine Pillars of Light are a maybe, but it's shit and basically Chaos/Firestorm. I guess Dorhys' Gnawing is fun when you hit Sully Beasts with it.

Even if it didn't you can extremely easily break a parrying/small/med shield normally, and Greatshields are for all intents and purposes impossible to stagger

The basic Knight armor is the best looking set in the game imo. It's slick, pristine, offers great protection and looks fucking MINT with more realistic weapons.

I'm replaying Dark Souls 2 for some reason, and holy shit some of these areas are awful.

They never seem to have over ~1000 health funnily enough that might be why, but either way they just take so much damage.

The entire greatsword class got shafted in this game.

They have the same range and barely more damage than straightswords, while being so much slower and consume much more stamina. Halberds basically do everything they do better too, as well as having WA combos.
