Is there a way to remap gamepad controls in CRS68k? In the game config you can only swap fire and bomb buttons.
I tried JoyToKey but game still uses its controller mapping.

Oh boy I think I'm setting myself a new goal for Crimzon Clover: BEAT UNLIMITED MODE. This little jump happened while practicing the final stage in unlimited mode for shits and giggles and I've decided to try to practice each stage to do a full playthough of unlimited mode.

You can if you start crs without the gamepad hooked in. I also have to run it normally, as in not in compatibility mode, so I have to choose between good controls with autofire or the built in.

That would be pointless for how small /shmupg/ is. Why don't you make a small section of the doc publicly editable so people can dump their scores their, and then when you have time get around to adding it to the main section.

Post your internet handle or some initials so there isn't just an unclaimed score some other chucklefuck will claim later. It's a leaderboard, there has to be some way to identify you. Don't post your real name on the internet.

I've only been playing the freeware version of Crimzon Clover not the steam version so I don't have an internet handle.

People can post whatever score they want in sheet 2. If it's a fair score then I'll add it to sheet 1 when I see it.

Also would be nice if you guys wrote something in sheet 2 to let me know if sharing is working together

Just click on one of the boxes and write something. You should get a message popping up which asks you if you want to edit, just accept it and kee writing.

I always see no real reason to post my scores unless it's a really outstanding score.

It can be inspiring to see other people improving their scores, or for a sense of "I'm not the only one trying to improve my scores". I dunno. Hard to explain.

Of course, as an outsider it can be entertaining, but as the one posting the score, it only makes me look mediocre.

There needs to be an in depth wiki for shmups.

'Stay there for 1-2 seconds without shooting' is misleading, it actually means without shooting at all up to that point in the stage.
