How is 684 degen/s at level 20 a lot? ED does 809 at the same level. And it's certainly easier to scale chaos/DoT than it is to scale cold/DoT. Penetration also doesn't work on DoT so you have to lower resistances through EE/Curses to get even close to ED's degen.

well, at lvl 20 reave has 122% dmg multiplier and cleave 136%, lacerate has only 118% but it gains AOE and it could be used with conc effect so I guess it's actually better, fuck reave we lacerate now

Can vortex's DoT proliferate, because I know the DoT scales with spell dmg thanks to GGG's inability to not powercreep. Otherwise 1button>2button. It can do all the dmg in the world, but dmg isn't an issue, speed is.

So Vortex is the new top tier leveling skill even if you're not going the frostbalt+vortex meme, right? free chill and the cold degen is a first so it will stack on top of any other degen as well. Even if you don't use it for damage later on, you could use it with CWDT for a free AoE chilling ground which would be very strong defensively if you have AoE nodes.

Going fast only works if your game isnt clunky as hell and it doesnt ask you to backtrack and clear maps in order to progress.
