Sadly this creen is bugged. You can awaken them 3 times to get a collectable but when I try to return to do the last 2 I just get put in the cutscene of my flying away.

A singleplayer game can not be dead.

4 Crusaders are not as viable as 4HM, but it was fine setup in earlier versions. I doubt you will survive lvl 3 anything but ruins, but you are free to try

Superhot's a pretty good one that I forgot to list.
I think HM2's pace wasn't the same as the first one, I didn't like it as much.
Bloodbath Kavkaz looks like a chinese knockoff and it's got mixed reviews on steam...

4HM is easy, all take self heal, 2 take stuns, 2 take guard, 2 take mark, 2 take stress heal, rest is filler. You also have so many scoobie snacks that you can obliterate certain bosses easily. You must remember about correct trinkets

Shuffling horror is best fought with shuffle teams, so 4CRUS would work, and 4HM is very versatile and can be useful from virtually every position
I would take 4HM if I would have to choose, because bleeds rock on DD
In theory, it could be done with 4xJester, but that would depend heavily on RNG dodge

I never had problem with Collector
You can stun him, you can blight him, you can bleed him
If you stun him in 1st round you can remove half of his life, and if you have HM with blackjack trinket you can kill him before he summons minions.

Sure, he's easy NOW, but I can't imagine how you'd beat him the first time, without knowing anything about him

Still playing Valdis Story. Got s-rank on all the bosses with Gilda except the ultra hard one that you get the golden weapons from, and the final bosses.

This game is awesome, but I have to tell you it's a nightmare if you want to minmax. There are four different weapons you can craft, over a dozen armors you can upgrade, and roughly five different magics you can upgrade (depending on your character). However, there are only a finite amount of materials you can use to upgrade your equipment and spells. So you have to plan ahead and if it turns out a weapon or armor or spell setup isn't meshing with your playstyle, you just gotta deal_with_it.png. However, there is an NPC who can reset your stat distribution and your selected skills (there are three "trees" of skills you can get, and getting basic skills unlocks more advanced skills) but no NPC who can undo your upgrades.

To add to this, the populations of two of the three towns of the game will die off if you neglect to do something, and these towns have crafters who certain types of equipment can only be upgraded at, and certain amounts of the finite crafting materials and there is no way to get them back if they die off.

On top of all this, you get stat bonuses for doing a good performance on bosses (beating him in a short time, avoiding hits, etc.) If you want to min-max, as soon as you get a certain move, you have to go to a secret shop of which there are no hints to it's existence, and give her supplies for a mystery hat, of which you can get one of four. One of the hats doubles the stat boosts you get from the bosses. However, this is a hidden effect, the hat itself has no description as to what it actually does. On top of all that, you have a chance to lose the hat when hit by an enemy. So not only do you have to find a hidden shop in the middle of nowhere, you have have to be ultra pro and avoid getting by spammy bosses.

Four Crusaders was a great meme party in the early days. I think it was too good, because holy lance used to be able to used from ranks 2-3-4, but it was nerfed to only be able to used from the backrows.

I think the game encourages experimentation, which is why there is no way to lose the campaign just missions in the main game, and why recruits are free.
