Anyhow Unusuals were just a reward for being very lucky and wasting your time unboxing. Much like the earbuds at first they were only an indication of how much of a fool you were. Only one or two of the effects even looked good, the rest were very situational. Having an unusual that didn't look good meant about as much as having a nuts robo-topi does now. Well if I wanted spy to be an actual contender he should have a sapper than can't be removed but only deactivates the sentry. A single pybro makes that entire part of playing spy disappear, so if he guaranteed got the sentry to "restart" building from level 1 to level 3 it'd be a way to play around the homewrecker/engiecamp

One of the main problems spy faces is being far less effective when fighting enemies that expect to face spies, especially more than one. Quite a few times a baddie friendly spy has decloaked near me and in the spray I got noticed. If spy had an additional movement option, perhaps like Snake from MGS could prone, hang from ledges, or climb things a bit over crouch+jump height he could be a more credible and timely threat to people hiding behind their line, as well as have new ways to escape detection.

spy's problem is the better the opposite team is, the harder it is to play

spy needs to be more effective when nobody expects him. like a faster decloak time would be good, and maybe a faster walking speed while invisible. also, the only situations a spy is viable in, are situations that people would easily detect a spy in.
