newfriend from yesterday here. i feel like the chapter length is a bit odd. i have barely started the game and i'm already in chapter 3? i mean it's the first non-training mission in the whole game..
or am i supposed to completely ignore story missions and just run around the map? i just accepted every quest from the mission board and try to do as many as possible while roaming the area.

The main story is relatively short. The best way to play is definitely exploring around and doing as much as you want before doing story missions. Recruit other characters, do their missions, try completing bounty missions or social missions from the mission board (gathering missions you can just accept when you already have what it's asking and do a bunch of them at once that way).
