Is it me or do people just assume that botfags like Mettaton for appearance? Appearance is one of them, but not the thing I like most about him. I've always had a thing for ghosts, bots, and legs in general, and Mettaton threw it all into one thing.
If I had to pick one, probably the whole "ghost that possessed a machine" thing. I love that kinda stuff.
