Today I posted to LFG that 900 ELO wants to do Gold bounty and got picked up by two +2.0 K/d guys. Got carried to 9:1, didn't end up in the LL by my own stupidity. I can't really think of a way they can put a non Taken twist on the Fallen as the game currently stands.

Maybe the Kell of Kells comes from space to take back the Traveler or something? We already had one giant Hive invasion and the Cabal are on their way, having that happen with the Fallen too would be a bit tired.

Or maybe the House of Kings Kell will be leading some sort of Fallen that have the full, non ramshackle technology they used to have?
