Hakumen is too weak. His mobility sucks without stars and his defensive options are all free to throw. He can barely break 1k meterless whereas most characters can easily get 3.5k with a good starter and still get oki. His mixups are virtually non-existent (inb4 6B, that shit is incredibly easy to block outside of netplay and arcade lag) and his pressure is laughable. Winning with Hakumen is so much harder than with any other character.

I mean we already went through this shit in xblaze, Hinata wanted Touya alive so much she kept resetting time hoping he'd survive the Watsumii incident but it never happened and a fake was born. The same goes for Es except Nine and Celica's actions saved her from repeating Hinata's mistake. Noel's prime for doing the same thing and she already turns into a blittering mess whenever Ragna gets hurt around her, imagine him actually dying.
