Skirmish is also bugged with flyers, your guys wont even react to them

My first real battle against chaos. They are swarming norland and I'm trying to help them (even thoguh they hate me). Already had a battle before this but my army was out numbered and I got flanked by hundreds of warhounds. This battle I feel like I HAVE to win.

Just watch out for the chaos chariot, one isn't bad but it can still roflstomp its way right through your spearmen and straight into crossbows. Later stacks will bring four or five of those motherfuckers and they don't die to crossbow bolts.

Castellan-engineer army
>6handgunners, 6 halberds, 2 steamtanks, 2 hellblaster, 3 outriders
>use pike and shot tactics

Franz army
>4 greatswords, 4 halberds, 3 handgunners, 2 demigryph, 2 hellblasters, 2 swordsmen, 1 warrior priest, 1 bright wizard

Not super efficient but sure min-max my fun

I pretty much use spearmen and crossbows for everyone with a couple of key support units. Gelt gets a black powder army though. Still trying to tech up to the OP empire units.

If they made each of the higher level troops progressively more expensive the more you have of the same type wouldn't that fix a lot of the balance problems in this game and encourage unit diversity? Gryphs would be prohibitively expensive after x number and no more panzer divisions. Seems simple enough.
