So I'm to get into Gary Grisby's War in the East and War in the Pacific, but I'm finding it incredibly overwhelming. Anybody know of any guides / videos that make the process of learning these games any less painful?

It seems to me a cramped tank with poor visibility would make an odd choice for a reconnaissance vehicle.
