Use lords and heroes

The answer is always Quarrellers, artillery or blasting charges.

The same way every faction deals with them. Take your lord and right click on their lord.

If it's mounted your lord won't catch up when they rout. If it's not mounted you can usually catch them with the speed boost to get a few more hits in and kill/wound.

It would be great if you could pay off factions to break alliances/trade agreements in diplomacy, but right now there doesn't seem to be anybody scumbag enough to do that in TW:W.
Diplomacy is now just Player vs AI, you can't, for example, do stuff like get the Takeda to fight the Hojo by paying them to break alliances and such.
