Oh that's a good point. All the ingame lore shows the singular Octarians making up the mainstay of the civilization. Octolings are barely mentioned, and only briefly described as being elite warriors, and nothing else. Elites of a species that can't fight well at that.

It is way better than a octoshot now (the jack of all trade gun). By using at least 2 run speed and 2 swim speed mains or equivalent (3 subs) its one of the fastest moving shooter gun in the game. I think its even better than the splatic-o-matic neo.

It doesn't have an offensive special or invincibility, which is pretty important in this game.

forgot to mention, its basically the sploosh o matic but with way better range

It's called using the main weapon. Go back to overwatch by using the Q to win button.

Splatoon was Q to win long before Overwatch became a thing. E-Liter and Luna aside, every top-tier weapon has a crutchy special.

80%: nzap, mini splatling

72%: Jr. aerospray, splash, sploosh, splattershot, heavy splatling

60%: 52 gal, jet, dual, hydra

50%: pro

40%: 96 gal

The new nzap is going to have insane mobility.

Octobrush, permabrush, neo sploosh all have light depletion and fast krakens. It'd be kinda stupid for the N-Zap to be medium.

those weapons all have shit range. it's not a big deal for them to have fast kraken because you shouldn't be near them anyway. nzap has better range and it is way easier to use.
