So basically you allocate people to cut or fish or whatever and you always need to have money in the coffers to pay them?

if you're going to bring melee/mage you may as well bring a crossbow so you can hit people from a distance without having to sacrifice defense/run in to attack with melee which may be a lethal mistake

if you're frozen you won't be able to attack from a distance other than maging, which means you will be in high mage bonus (which is frail armor)

not getting in barrage piles is super important so melee is a once in a while sort of thing in a lot of fights since you don't want to group in melee range on your pile if anyone with barrage/chins is around
also if those setups don't do it for you, variations on this super common tribrid set might be worth considering, although probably with whip or something instead of ags
