After losing multiple games due to incompetent team members, I realized I should just channel the 13k damage I'm blocking with Reinhardt into the other team.

Now I'm averaging 10k+ damage and dealing 30%~ of my team's damage every game. This is legitimately the most fun I've ever had since release. Except my team just yells at me every game for never putting shield up.

tracer can actually bi pivotal against a good team working together all pushing up. They get thier blinders on since they are doing well and you can absolutely stomp them from behind.

It promotes teamplay, every member of the roster is viable situationally, and it measures relevant skills for an FPS rather than how consistently you can rocket jump.

It's not really a competitive shooter. It's about as casual a shooter as you can get. Just play the game and enjoy it with friends, and don't worry about doing well or winning. My friend is on the old side (early 30s) and is total shit at fps games but he just plays with friends when he gets the chance and has fun with it.

When ranked comes out, people will move their tryharding over there, so quickplay should become more lax.
