I know a lot of people are going to dislike this at first. It's a lot of information. It's very difficult to parse unless you're used to watching it and it may well be more information than a lot of viewers want to parse, period. Hear me out, though. There are a LOT of tweaks that can and will be made within this framework. Deaths need to be more obvious (greyed out portrait and items). Buybacks need to be more obvious (portrait flashes) and buyback cooldown indicators should be larger (gold icon, with or without red X, at the bottom right of the player portrait or close by). PGL has already thought about these things and they are pretty simple to implement from what I understand. For the record I had nothing to do with BattleView's development before this event. I've told them I will work on it FOR FREE. I truly believe this is an idea that will revolutionize Dota 2 spectating. PLEASE don't go on a knee jerk brigade that will lead Valve to ask PGL to shut this down. Give it a chance. I promise you, you will not be sorry.
