Jaeger, that carbine is great and ADS is often more useful and can catch enemies off guard than the easily visible zap

what makes a gun 'good'? way I see it no matter what gun I use I die in head-on firefights anyway, so I might as well just flank people in any case

I can remember only one gun I use the acog on, and that's Thermite's 556 something

So here is a tip and this should increase your killing power

if the gun has low recoil and can get the ACOG use it

Why is acog so good/important in Siege?

Better to watch anything that is at a distance, and there is little to no disadvantage to having it. Its good close up and good at range.

Also when looking at a window from inside, because of the magnification, there is less glare so you can see better outside.

i notice console players don't use it as much because it makes aiming even harder and reduces your fov to about 5. this is actually a good thing because it means ubisoft at least understands the difference between PC & console by giving you a choice.

on PC, the ACOG is the difference between life or death by allowing you to see and deal with the microscopic pistol kill hole 50m away from outside the window.

oh yeah, and PC players can turn off those shitty lens effects, bloom, and ambient occlusion to see better.

No they cant. But you can lower your FOV to trick the game and thus lower your glare. This brings you to the disadvantage of not being able to see shit around you. The trade off isnt worth it to me.

his c8? His c8's recoil got cut in like half since dust line. It was ridiculous beforehand and there was literally no reason to play him because of it. Now there's a lot more bucks because he's finally offensively viable, though his shotgun is now worthless.

If you're referring to the part in the E3 reveal where the player places a breaching charge on the floor in the living room, you'll notice it's almost the same exact spot as the current trapdoor in the living on the release version of House.

That would be incredibly imbalanced, but I mean, you can blow the floor off and shoot through it for the most part.
