NR is a fictional hero, that is only given life through people believing in her. There's been said to be a few others. Legends are stories, stories even if fiction become real with enough belief, and thus an existence is born.
However people like Robin Hood did exist, but with the idea that there was never a true Robin Hood. Rather the individual feats of legend for Robin Hood were preformed by many different people over the eras that got conflated together a bit. There have been many green hooded men in the British Isles over the years who used sneak tactics to fight unjust kings.
