I got almost 100% resistance to dark when I actually PvPed in it. Hexes and Dark Buffs was what everyone was still using at the time.

They eventually fixed that and hardcapped elemental resistance at 75% mitigation.
The only real problem with pure casters was the hard-counter shields, but you could deal with those as long as you had backup damage types.

You need 20 att to do that now because if you don't have 50fp it won't work
twice maximum with a little bit of FP investment, or waste a slot on the farron ring
