SL80 is quality or luck only, SL120 is also quality or luck but with buffs
So I would go with Sl100, since you don't have to min-max (as you would in Sl80) and have lots of stats to make a specialized build

But go whatever floats your boat, everyone uses 1 shot hornet anyways

DaS1 is indisputably the best Souls game overall. It has the best combat mechanics by a longshot, the best PvP despite (or in some ways because of) all the glitches, and the DLC had some of the best and most memorable bosses in the series.

Dark souls 2 is something like a 9/10 in my scale, 3 would be at least 8.5/10
I play mostly casters, casters were just significantly more fun in 2.
STR characters are more satisfying in 3, 1 and Bloodborne though.

Only thing DaS3 got right was the boss designs and soundtrack. Everything else was either meh or shit.

Soul Memory only affected the PvP/Coop aspect of the game which is only 1/8h of the game. Didn't effect me, so I don't have any opinions for or against it. Nor does it sway my judgement since it's my opinion is based on the PvE gameplay portion.
