Heh, thanks. I thought the image was probably too boring or something since it brokered zero responses so I didn't think about it too much and resolved to fix it a little bit and move on.

I have this weird obsession with trying to squeeze at least bearable art out of MSpaint since it's such an everymans tool. I'm also not familiar with other programs. I guess I could try it for whatever I deign to draw next just so I don't insult the people who've taken the time to encourage me.

If you get a tablet, they usually come with free art programs. Painttool SAI is also good, but lacks some good shit like real transparency and text.

I use sai a lot but doing stuff in mspaint is really relaxing and stuff ends up coming out better than if I had used sai.

I use GIMP, personally. I'm not that good and have not tried other programs, so I don't know what to to tell you about it. Although the one time I saw it mentioned here, someone said it sucks.

Hmm i've never had an issue doing transparency with paint.net and I always make sure to do transparent backgrounds for those drawing collages so the guy has less work . Worse case you can just go in and use the mass select tool and delete the background then save it again I guess.

Its not really a big deal, it takes like five mins to look up good art of a specif character. Honestly it takes more time to change the endings to .org. I

With the way things are going I'll probably suck more on a tablet than with a mouse. I haven't drawn with a pen in almost 10 years and even then it was mostly similar doodles in the edges of notebooks and stuff.

Thanks cutie. I think the more simple Mettaton design is the way to go after all. My own way of doing things often results in too much focus on the hair and less cute faces.

Now I'm curious. Does SAI somehow make it more difficult to draw or is it just that you try harder to use more tools and things in SAI?

And how do you find GIMP? Is it better than paint?
