I need some new goals in this game. I want to play it but every time I log in I find myself sitting around for a bit before logging out again. The only two things that keep me logging in are fractals and raids.

There are no skins that I want atm, all of the characters I would want to play are geared out already, legend in pvp so queues are impossible, and WvW has nothing going for it right now.

The funny thing about all of this is that everyone knows how much of a liar Kittdai is, that she's so insecure about how she looks that she lies about what she looks like, and that she manipulates others to think that they're the ones in the wrong. Are the rewards okay for the raids and are they harder than the old dungeons? What do you get for completing one, a random item or something?

raids are the only way to get legendary armor, but for the most part the only rewards you can get from raids that you cant get anywhere else are unique skins and certain special drops worth loads of cash.
If you want to play a condition build, viper trinkets and backpiece only come from raids as well, for some reason.

You get your choice of femrat or femcat

Rewards are good.
You're able to earn 100 of a currency a week with chances at earning more by turning in miniatures or salvaging ascended weapons you get as drops. You can turn in the currency for any raid drop if you were after a specific skin or ascended gear.

Each boss gives a fair amount of gold, rares, and a guaranteed exotic. There are minis, boss specific weapon skins, ascended armor, ascended trinkets with stats you can only get from the raid, and a few other boss specific drops.

There's also legendary armor which should be coming out soon that you have to do the raid to earn

Haven't played it since release. What have they changed in general? You know, other than the expansion.

they've more or less fixed everything but the difficulty, which is still pretty minimal UNTIL you get to the expansion.
Skill trees have been remade, most of them from the ground up, and the progression system has been completely redone.
In general the game is far more balanced now, but aside from fixing the base game and living story stuff they havent done much aside from release new skins on the gem store.

If you're going to ask a question like that then you should be a little more specific.

If you don't have the expansion it isn't going to look like much has changed. Most parts of the game have been changed in some fashion, but you'll need the expansion to get the most out of it.
PvP has seasons and a ranking system along with new ways to earn rewards. You'll need HoT to be competitive, elite specs are too powerful.
PvE has a few new legendaries, fractal rebalances, tons of new skins, and if you haven't played since release a full new gear tier, ascended. There's also a raid.
WvW is a work in progress. Most changes have been QoL fixes. A major overhaul is in effect and is rolling out in small pieces over time.

Honestly there's too much shit to list off. Everything has changed to some extent.

We are fighting with White Mantle. What was the purpose of White Mantle ? To spread corruption into the Tyria. WE do know they are working with bandits at the moment. Also we do know Caudecus has tons of bandit's inside his manor. ( From Caudecus Manor Dungeon). How the fuck did they enter here if he is a good man ? Also He is so close to Queen. Queen trusts Caudecus. Nobody will notice ! Best place to hide is hiding the inn of the lion. Because nobody will find out. The white mantle have a ton of lore in guild wars 1. They have affiliations with ancient races that are merely mentioned in gw2.

ANet's always been really good with engine restrictions desu, even GW1 still looks good despite the low polycounts.

About to start playing this game for the first time, debating class choice. Two questions:

1) Is there really no trinity in this game or was that just a marketing shtick? For dungeons, raids, etc is there any sort of standard composition I should be aware of?

2) Are there any classes that are so undertuned that I should just not even bother playing them?
