On Part 3 Step 27, my version says Emu, so I just update regularly from Other Settings?

I'm on part 5 of the guide on N3DS. When I insert the SD at 2.1 sysNAND, the screen stays black, but when I take it out and insert the SD after booting, it works fine. Can I proceed or must I find a fix for this? None of the troubleshooting stuff seemed to have worked.

It says to do that if you get a black screen when booted with the SD. It doesn't tell you whether it's safe or not to proceed if you have the issue when the SD's inserted at boot.

It's safe. Boot without SD when you need to turn on, put SD in and proceed as normal.

So im trying to use Ciaangel to get a ticket for a game from eshop, My understanding was that i needed to hit L until i got to the Install Ticket Region option at the bottom, however i can only find create ticket region, anything i'm doing incorrectly? also im using the search option by name of game, is there a different more direct way to search?

How common is it to find stores carrying 10.7 firmware N3DS? How's the success rate for the downgrader? Is it better than it was before?

Alright, so I'm looking for something kinda specific and I'm curious which way would be easier to go about it.

I'm looking to play a Final Fantasy VI (SNES, US III) romhack that pretty much puts in place a fan-translation of the original script, along with putting in an improved opera scene and other bits of improvement.

Would it be easier to get a homebrew emulator for SNES stuff, or should I make one of those custom CIAs for it? How much of a performance difference is there between a CIA and the currently available SNES emulators available for homebrew?

Which one is better? I've read that ciangel downloads the .cia before installing the game, so it occupies twice the space.

Freeshop has a MUCH nicer UI but it only contains games(DLC/Updates/DSiWare are something that are gonna be in the next update). There's also the option to just browse every game as well and look at screens

CIAngel has a shit UI but it contains games/DLC/Updates/DSiWare. Theres only a search function so you cant really browse through a list

I dont know about that last part because I dont use CIAngel

I mean i've been having some issues where certain games won't download through CIAngel or FBI Qr code, not even from the regular eshop after ciangel generates a title for it (Though maybe it seems i just need to try again some times, Picross e3 was one of these games but it downloadd through CIAngel on a third try)

Updating FBI is just taking the folder inside the latest 3ds folder and copying/merging it with the one inside the SD card, correct?

you scan the qr code with fbi, if you still have the old injected one you use that one to install the new fbi

I've got an O3DS with a9lh+Luma installed, but GBA games won't run for some reason. I've tried cia files and QR codes, but those haven't worked. Is there a solution?

I don't know what QR code you're talking about, but I'm just going to put the .cia on the card and install that using FBI then.
