Not really, it's pretty fun to play still. I'd recommend against getting it tho, Blizzard has first to prove that they actually give a heck about balancing the game for PCs. For being in beta for so long, not having a huge scope, and for costing 40 dollars/euros, they really dropped the ball.

You actually trust /v/? If a game is popular, the game is automatically shit. Dark Souls III, Overwatch, you name it, great games, /v/ shits all over them.

Game will only get boring if you just keep going for really long play sessions in my experience. I generally get 2-3 lootboxes per day (level ups), which is generally about 12-18 games, and then take a break, and I have been playing it every day since launch without getting bored, despite generally not being a fan of multiplayer focused games or FPS.

It's a really, really casual game, but it tries to be competitive at the same time, so it ends up this shitty mess.
You will most likely enjoy it for at least 40 hours of playtime, but it's not a lasting game like TF2.

Years ago I would get my opinions from /v/ for upcoming games and I would usually avoid them.

Stopped browsing /v/ and Overwatch was the first game in a long while where I bought it with little knowledge other than the beta was fun and I'm loving the hell out of it. Checked /v/ to see what they think and they generally dislike it in usual fashion.

Just get the game if it looks fun and you enjoyed the beta.

>The scope shakes when Widow is hurt. The more damage taken, the more she shakes (so if a D.Va is shooting at you from spawn you won't take enough damage to notice, but if Tracer starts unloading on you from behind it's nigh impossible to turn around and shoot her)
>Assault rifle has damage falloff at range (for consistency with other assault rifles in the game)

Hanzo's arrow should probably have slightly better projectile speed as well to make him a more consistent hero. Then maybe he'd start rivaling Widow as a sniper pick.

Hopefully they go through with that talk of Widowmaker nerfs, it seems fanbase is evenly split on her being fine or her being Overpowered, but I guarantee that split is Console / PC, as she isnt nearly as much of a piece of shit on consoles as she is on PC where its just point, click, instakill nearly every hero in the game.
