Removal of so many staple mechanics of this genre make people think poorly of the game, hero unlock system makes people never give the game a chance.

I realized something very obvious that would partially explain why I am so bad at this game.

Using cookie cutter builds is fine and all and it usually is sufficient besides a few obvious things like Imposing against AAs or Spellshield against mages.

But my biggest issue and one that clearly shows how retarded I am is that after I memorize the cookie cutter build, I don't even bother to read what the talents do.

A lot of talents aren't set it as forget it, you need to keep them in mind and alter your playstyle accordingly. Like with Lunara who I suck with, I had all these talents that trigger off of spores, but I always used Spores at the wrong times and wasting my increased range and damage.

All from not bothering to read or think.
