Actually I haven't tried the new thing they released. But the old Replay editor was pretty garbage.

Old replay was nice for getting angles you couldn't have possibly gotten with first-person recording, but it didn't list deaths so it was kind of unclear when you actually got somebody.

For my more recent gameplay I've used Nvidia's Shadowplay feature. Doesn't really tax my graphics any more than normal. Gets all of the action I see, but it's harder to keep a narrative going because when I die I don't have free movement of camera.

For the best of both worlds, I'd record demo and use a screen recorder at the same time, and edit them together later.

That said I'm too lazy to do the same myself, best of luck.

Yeah, that's why I suggested lawena since it lets you record demos but then go back and let you do some editing before you record/render it.

You have no downsides what so ever and you can just pop a mini-kritzkrieg whenever you're in the mood

I like the shotgun for scouts and situations where 4 rockets isn't enough for killing everybody.

The direct hit is also good if you know how to pick your fights such that lacking splash damage doesn't ruin you.
