A 150/9 set costs like 25-30m excluding booster costs, which run up another 15-45m, so 40-75m for a full set, nowhere near "hundreds of millions", not even for a set of each kind.

Most of the time (like during an LQ) it's impossible for more than one "good" e-trial slot to be active

Since only three e-trials can be active at once they're not wasting slots at all

It only becomes a waste if you fail them since you don't get a badge and since you don't earn any points you delay how soon you can start up another quest

DVR-like "automatically and continually record the last x number of minutes of a game" functionality is a thing these days although this person was not necessarily using something like that

I did an LQ the other day, I got 5 avoid/visibolt trials in it. The goron/other boss(es) code didn't even spawn because of it.

You can have five total, but you can't have more then one Visibolt and one Gel Wulff active at the same exact time. The maximum number of active e-trials active anywhere is three, meaning there was always a free slot.

The fact that you didn't get any bosses is just a stroke of bad luck. You almost certainly got some shitty code attacks or unites or something though.

I made 2 full 150/9 sets during the last boost week for about 55m excluding booster costs. It's a number that more than one person would confirm to be more or less accurate.
