Are all the gods relatively balanced? Can I just choose whichever interests me most and expect to do well enough? Are there any that are simply garbage and should be avoided? How easy is it to get new gods? TIA

No, there a huge power creeps between gods and each game mode has it's power variation, there are more strong gods than weak tho in all modes.

the patches can vary a good amount, like anywhere from 1gb to 3gb, they normally happen every other week tho

this last patch they fucked up all sorts of things, we've had like 3 hotfixes so far

The worst is when you play Khepri, they always do retarded shit expecting you to save them with your ult but always forget minor thing like cooldown or you just not being here. And some time even when you ult, instead of retreating they will keep fighting until your ult end and then get killed.

You know the standard build for every role, you at least roughly know what every god in the game does, you know which actives to buy but often die with them up due to not using them on cc or damage you view as "minor" and you have a hard time keeping track of camp timers but remember to invade when ahead. Does that sound about right?

I played plenty of games with Guardians and Warriors sitting back like they are assassins. It's the worst. You expect assassins or hunters to engage a team fight? Get the fuck out there you tanky bitch. On the other hand I love playing Cabrakan but nothing is worse than engaging and CCing a target and my team isn't doing shit to him making me waste my whole kit for nothing

How much have the rest of you dropped on Smite?

Not a penny myself but a good many gems have been given to me. Enough to get the entire summer pack last year, a full set of one of the esport team chests and enough to help me hit 8K fantasy points. Might drop $150 on the 13000 gem package, stock up on skins and VPs.

I play support Hunters. You friend user are my brother/sister/user in arms. It's not the most rewarding or high scoring roles, but it's rewarding I think.

I've played this game on and off since the beta and haven't spent anything on it and don't plan to.

Soul Reaver + Poly on Cabrakan's 1 takes off a huge portion of health. You can make some interesting hybrid builds that will suprise opponents. I like health stacking then going full damage on certain guardians since casuals don't pay attention to the opponents build progression

I can't aim as a hunter for shit so I generally go Guard, Assassin, or Mage.

People not playing roles correctly is terrible. I've been playing for a month without really looking much up and I went 20/9 jungling Awilix with a bunch of randos. These casuals cannot comprehend roles half the time and it is SO annoying

$30 on the ultimate god pack (although my friend and I did it during an event in which gifting the pack gave you 1500 gems or smth, and gifted it to each other, so it was much more worth).Since then I've bought two $15 dollar packs, so that's 60 on a free to play game.

I regret every penny of it.
