But what about downloading Prefabs of turrets?

You can save turrets as sub-objects and then place them wherever you want

The problem is the turrets are spawning on a small raft of wood, the fucking things are massive, so they just go belly up.

And I'm not sure if I can right them again.

Think Tractor beaming them would allow me the stability to save them as Prefabs?

its a bit of a nigger solution but if im remembering correctly the mod redpower let you have movable grids

I know about frames. Redpower died a long time ago and there are plenty of clones.
There was also another mod, really buggy though I think, that let you actually have actual proper moving grids.
don't know too much about it though.

I haven't heard of redpower, but I always used to play with an airship mod that would let you move and rotate your grid. I tried looking it up, I think it might be called 'Archimedes Airships' now.
As a kid I read this book series about a land where rocks rose when heated, and people would use them to control airships. Bringing that to live with the airship mod was incredibly satisfying, it was fun to build a docking tower and tether a bunch of ships to it.

Length of the shell modules and its calibre. I think that a fused tracer shell should be shorter than regular sabot.

I think every customizer adds .25m to the shell length.

Trying to figure out a good shell combo for a 250mm shell against DWG's Moray and anything below.

It used to be that each customizer added twice the shell caliber. Now some components add less.
