Far Harbor felt tiny even on survival mode and I can't imagine Nuka World being much bigger. I was all excited for getting at least 3 big DLCs but if they're really stopping at 2 then I'm going to be severely disappointed. Even fucking Skyrim had 2 big expansion packs and 1 small one and that felt bigger and beefier than what we've gotten for F4 so far.
I hate how Bethesda is focusing too much on settlement mode, because they've been able to make a lot of prime DLC back in the day (Shivering Isles, Point Lookout, etc). Now it seems they only see Fallout as a post-apocalytic farming simulator based solely on the fact that we're getting 3 wasteland workshops and only 2 actual story DLCs. Like, seriously? It's kind of cool that we can do all this shit, but I'd rather get rid of it all if it meant giving us more areas to explore and more quests to do.
If we do get more DLC after Nuka World, then I'm obviously going to relax, but if it really is the last DLC then it'd better be really damn good.
Owen Sullivan
That sound what IS it!?
Brayden Lopez
>no end game DLC that wraps up the story and fixes the ending like broken steel
Hudson Gray
>Nuka-World Edition >not "Disappointment Edition"
Caleb King
Piper farts!
Nicholas Wilson
Please just add a proper assault rifle Bethesda...please
Gabriel Diaz
>Nuka-World is the final DLC
Fallout 4 turned out to be a whole bunch of nothing. I don't know why I'm surprised.
Asher Gomez
>final DLCs just copy mods
Lincoln Roberts
when can we expect to meet a bunch of scavengers in a PT boat who heard an SOS and are recruiting dirt farmers to go help them salvage the ship for sick loot
but the ship is full of super duper turbospooks that end up killing most of the people you come in with
Zachary Davis
Cant say im dissappointed (its Bethesda) but man, it is a fucking letdown that Fallouts turning into a "Building Simulator" cash cow.
Matthew Ward
So to everyone that hopes so badly for a Moonbase DLC, how are you feeling right about now?
Liam Robinson
It would've just been raiders on the moon not sure why anyone got excited
Evan Gomez
>TES VI will be announced before any modder has a chance to make a good quest mod that deals with the main plot >people will just move on to that >story will forever be half-finished >Emil will try to do "muh family" shit in Fallout 5 again and everyone will love it
Liam Hernandez
>mfw Preston is asking stupid questions
Ayden Roberts
...*sob*
David Robinson
I'm glad Enclave shitters got BTFO but on the other hand all we got from Fallout 4 was Boston, a shitty island and a dumb theme park.
Austin Brooks
I'm more saddened that the gunners won't be fleshed out in their own DLC
Wyatt Green
Yes.
Of course we don't know anything about the theme park but from what we do know it may just be The Pitt 2.0
Which isn't that terrible but it seems a low note to end everything on, unless it's REALLY impressive somehow, in terms of landmass size and content.
I get the feeling Beth didn't want to do anything space-oriented again after Mothership Zeta anyway.
Henry Gomez
I was really excited for the story possibilities for the DLCs that were surely to come. It seemed like the writing was really starting to pick up in Far Harbor. And now it's over.
And now we're piling on the settlement stuff. Fuck, couldn't they even have done a simple weapon/armor add-on instead? Or one that just adds quests for pre-existing characters/places? Hell, I like Minecraft. I even like the Sims. But if I wanted to play Minecraft or the Sims I wouldn't play FO4's clunky bullshit knockoff version.
Chase Adams
>no Fallout 4 GRA DLC What did we do to anger the great Todd this much? Are we destined to live in this pipegun hell for all eternity?
John Thomas
They could have done anything, theme parks are lame as hell for a final dlc.
Hell, what about that whole Abbey of the Road stuff? Isn't their base right next to the Commonwealth? Should've made a DLC about them.
Jonathan Cox
>mfw I don't even like building in settlements
Zachary Price
It turned out to be a sequel to fallout 3
there's some cool stuff
Luis Foster
Wait, is Bethesda hiring Trainwiz?
Mason Mitchell
...
Charles Bailey
>just finished bunker home >thunderstorm begins
John Myers
That isn't vanilla right?
Jackson Lopez
Settlements are garbage, who the fuck wants to wait for a thousand mods to fix the shit beth did?
No one.
It's literally discouraged people from looking into building in the CK.
Fuck you bethesda, I hope your mothers houses burn down.
Bentley Anderson
Yes
Ayden Gutierrez
who knows? well, some people do. Maybe.
Gabriel Gutierrez
if you're talking about the ponytail, then no. it's from azar's ponytails the bunker is from homemaker
Hunter Evans
When did this happen? Links?
Aiden Ortiz
Settlements just seem so lifeless.
My first time around I imagined building some bustling town. But all settlements are are settlers standing around and pacing. So dead and lifeless.
Liam Allen
It's a rumor. He talked about meeting them at GDC, and they clearly knew who he was before that.
Anthony Gomez
What is the fucking point ?
Michael Martinez
I didn't even notice your ponytail, but now I have a mighty need
Jack Jones
Maybe they'll add a ton of new weapons in nuka word! oh who the fuck am I kidding fallout 4s weapon modding scene is deader than my soul
Benjamin Bennett
to convey things
Logan Hill
So that's fucking it?
2 DLCs with stuff to do and three DLCs being about settlement trash?
Fucking hell, Far Harbor was way smaller than Dragonborn too so I expect Nuka World or whatever be the same.
But hey who cares about actual locations to explore when we got elevators and weapon racks
Luke Collins
That one question can sum up the entirety of Fallout 4.
Justin Ward
to be fair, part of it is just the lack of resources at this point.
I still can't figure out this goddamn subgraph shit
WHY THE FUCK BETHESDA
Hudson Martin
Mob grinder and item sorting?
Lincoln Sanchez
This really isn't enough to make assumptions with, but Bethseda's initial pitch for Nuka World isn't inspiring a whole lot of confidence.
Like, this was the write-up when they introduced Far Harbor: >A new case from Valentine's Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost? Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that we've ever created, filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons. The choices are all yours.
This is the one for Nuka World: >Take a trip to Nuka-World, a vast amusement park now a lawless city of Raiders. Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom and the Galactic Zone. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders, weapons, creatures and more. Enjoy the ride!
It just sounds like a gimicky exploration zone. I'm sure it'll at least be fun, but I don't expect a story to get even mildly interested in. And now I wonder how the full trailer for Nuka World will be like, and how it will compare in tone to Far Harbor's trailer.
Jordan Peterson
Anyone got that dolphin porn link at all?
Jonathan Ward
Didn't they try that once already? Trainman would probably make a quality apocalyptic game tbqh
Carter Torres
>more raiders to kill
Angel Smith
what link?
Robert Cruz
Considering they showed a park full of visitors I'm guessing the raiders won't be hostile to a paying player, more carnies than cannibals.
Robert Lopez
Apparently the contraptions DLC is in beta, which has always meant a link to dolphin porn before.
Samuel Jenkins
He applied but if he went through normal channels he'd never be noticed. The only way to get a job in the game industry is to talk to people. If he ran into them at GDC and was even halfway competent and charismatic he would definitely get hired.
Jason Gray
the park full of visitors are settlers
Liam Williams
Guess we'll have to wait and see. I don't know how I feel about this.
Justin Perez
Christ I sure hope this skyrim thing doesn't mean EVEN LESS mods for fo4
Especially since we're really going to need them now.
Benjamin Adams
The only bad thing is that Nanosteam might end up going away or worse, being a Bethesda IP. Which is a shame because I was looking forward to it.
Daniel Garcia
When Fallout 4 finally, truly dies after everyone realizes the game itself and even all its DLC was a whole bunch of nothing, and everyone goes back to discussing New Vegas instead, I think I'll be truly happy
Easton Brown
wont happen, it'll die when they make something new
Jonathan Cook
I'm good at people.
Hunter Garcia

You wish kiddo, when the sex mods start coming out this place will be full of waifuposting, avatarposting and every kind of posting that exists on this side of Jerusalem.
If they ever come out that is, the modding scene is still pretty dead.
Leo Gray
nah fallout 3 way before new vegas came out, i think fallout 4 will die before the next fallout game hits. beth just doesn't make their games very long lasting, despite being known for it.
Elijah Stewart
See >I'm looking forward to HD Skyrim as much as the next person, but there will be nothing new about the game at all, just less potato and more facial pore gloss, woo-fucking-hoo. Don't expect modders to willingly move backward.
But NV is shit, even the mods and community were shit.
Aiden Nguyen
Don't do it trainman, don't sell your soul!
Matthew Cruz
>nah fallout 3 way before new vegas came out,
fallout 3 died before new vegas, woops.
Ayden Robinson
who knows you never hear of any conflict within bethesda games studios itself and the employees have all been there forever maybe he'd be happy designing stuff for them
Anthony Carter
This is some nostaligia-tainted thinking.
Jason Turner
well, there are autists that still discuss FO1 and 2 so everything is possible
Nathaniel Mitchell
You seem reluctant to tell us anything about Bethesda, but what can you tell us?
Hudson James
It was a cash cow before anyone even realised the success of settlement mode.
William Scott
If it weren't for Blood and Wine distracting me, I'd probably be really sad that Fallout 4 is as mediocre as it is. At least there's Cyberpunk 2077 to look forward to since Obsidian will probably never get to do Fallout: New Orleans.
Gabriel Brooks
the salt is real with this post
Joshua Jones
>salt
Yeah, I am really JEALOUS of people that can't move on and rehash the same topics of discussion over and over
Cameron Ramirez
Bethesda is in maryland.
Mason Cook
What really fucking gets me is that even Skyrim had weapon racks in vanilla. Why are they releasing this as DLC. Why not include it and give us actual interesting DLC.
Even Fallout 3 had more interesting things. Hell I'll even take another operation anchorage.
Settlements were a big mistake.
Camden Kelly
the salt is rising with this post
Colton Russell
When did Fallout 4 become Skyrim?
Michael Miller
I was a /Toddposter/, but now that he and Beth have failed me I'm now a #Witchermissile got the game and its DLCs from GOG, so all the money goes to Cyberpunk 2077.
Wyatt Howard
It was always Skyrim with guns...
Nathan Price
dank memes confirmed
Brandon Murphy
>there are still retards releasing replacer radio stations
Aaron Johnson
disappointed, Fo3 at least had The Pitt which was a short but 10/10 expansion
Jose Russell
This started as anatomy practice but then we were like Maxwells needs more spook so I decided to make it spooky but now I have no idea what the fuck it is or what it would be for.
Write me a backstory /fog/
Angel Richardson
Far Harbor? what location on map?
Nathan Brooks
>Machines that sort! Machines that build! Machines that combine! With Fallout 4 Contraptions, use conveyer belts, scaffolding kits, track kits, even logic gates to construct crazy and complex gadgets to improve your Wasteland settlements. The Contraptions Workshop also includes all-new features like elevators, greenhouse kits, warehouse kits, fireworks, armor racks and more! I'm wondering what the warehouse kits looks like, greenhouse kit is obviously going to be like the snap-n-build greenhouse mod allowing making places like greentop nursery or greygarden.
But warehouse? What does a warehouse look like in fallout 4.
Joseph Mitchell
hello twitch/reddit
i hope Veeky Forums is treating you well
Charles Howard
Yo anyone have a download for Rockin Red Rocket?
Samuel Scott
Probably similar to the barn.
Jacob Moore
> Elianora: Because I don't want some a**hole to steal it and badly port it to Bethesda.theft
Jacob Parker
WW 1 and 2 is literally just horse armor. At least they put some effort into WW 3 and ripped off a mod.
