How do I 'rocket jump' as zarya? Sometimes her alt fire sends me flying, other times it just makes me hop a bit. I don't know how to be consistent with it

I just don't want to play King of the Hill anymore. I'm tired of having to be Lucio or Winston so our team will have a chance and then losing 70% of the time anyway because of any of the following

Most KOTH games I get tossed into are in progress with one loss already so they're practically guaranteed to count towards giving me a leaver penalty too.

Yeah. Capturing a point should nullify all ult charge on Anubis/Hanamura/Volskaya.

Defenders should also get instant respawn for a short while after first point has been captured.

The current state of the game is that the attackers just rush B as fast as they can and pop all the ults they got from capturing A on top of B and winning instantly. It's fucking stupid, especially when you got teammates who ragequit every lost game and causing a server swap (yay, now I got a loss as a defender and I didn't even get to play attacker!)

I honestly have begun to leave as soon as I load into a koth map. It's such a fucking god awful game mode. It seems like almost every game I play, my team facerolls the enemy team, then in the second round the enemy team suddenly becomes a spec ops squad and destroys us two games in a row. I'd say maybe one in five koth games I play are legitimate back-and-forths. It's just steamrolls over and over. Attackers need faster spawns or something, because defending seems to be so fucking easy in this game and the team that gets the first cap almost always holds it for 100% at high mmr.

Her M1 can get up to like 100 dps and it just fucking melts anyone. She shits on genjis hardcore and can melt tanks. Stop trying to set up a billion sentries in a single room for ebin microwaves, any aoe will just kill them all instantly and people will just avoid that room, use them as FUCKING SENTRIES, they tell you where enemies are coming from and slow them down, put one or two in places where people will try to flank from or retreat towards.

I found that best character on attack to capture points is... lucio. You just breeze past all enemy defences, on some maps on routes they cant even see you and then jump into the capture point - half times enemy team is mile away trying to stop your team in advance, so you have couple seconds until they realize someone is capturing the point - other times just activate speed boost and run around the point and walls like crazy with them unable to target you and capturing ticking.

Litterally forces enemy team to withdraw to the capture point and look out for you.

Are you trying to launch yourself in the air with it?

I do it by launching into the air, firing the blast at an angle to give me some diagonal lift and then using hover. It gives a lot of horizontal distance, but it's pretty tricky, I'm not consistently good at it.

But yeah, you have to be in midair and use your hover to carry on the momentum of the blast.
