I like to sometimes browse around. I don't do it too much though since some people do throw around spoilers pretty freely for random games.

Based off some some things I've read, I don't think they'd do either titles to begin with. It's still a reflection of what's in demand though.

Not noteworthily so, just keep in mind the tags on vndb. The romance is "light" if you're using that to mean easy-going or cute. If by "light" you mean a quick read then no, it's long and kind of difficult.

To give perspective with other well-known BL titles, it's nowhere near N+C or Omerta levels of edge if that's what you're avoiding.

Sounds like an improvement.
Tatebayashi's route was surprisingly boring considering everything going on. It should've focused more on his feud with Senge or something, and less on "am I fit to be a soldier" and the twins. He's also too serious considering how silly Shigure, Senge, and Misaki could get. Kyoichiro's development was my least favorite of the four routes on top of it. Kind of too otome, although he was at least still competent.

i think they added a childhood flashback with him and Senge in the Vita ver.

also is it just me, or did the love interests feel like Megaten alignment reps? maybe it was because of them all representing a different ideology.
