I rarely try to use Hanzo's ult to get kills anymore. I just throw it where lots of shit is going on and pick off people as they're running around.
Also something nobody thinks about: Hanzo's ult is big and bright and creates a big fucking wall you can't see through, it's like a flash bang for both teams. If only there was some way you could get little red outlines of the other team so you could shoot them but they can't shoot you back.

You're the one who thinks a hero being "high tier" or "low tier" has anything to do with contributing in a pub
Okay so Widow is better than Hanzo if you have an organized team playing for $500000. That doesn't mean some random person can't just pick Hanzo and destroy a pub. If your heroes abilities honestly influence how well you play personally rather than your skill then your skill is abysmally low to the point that you might as well just be a Medium Bot. Good players can pick a Zenyatta or D.Va and crush a pub game with them. Bad players have so little skill they have to pick high tier heroes and hope that they auto-play themselves.
