Making Cash

ITT:
(1) unconventional ways you have made money in the past
(2) How much you made per hour/day/week (whatever seems most applicable)
(3) Tips on being good at it

Legality is negotiable

Heres a pretty lady for your time, thank you.

Have friend that gets that work at store with great employee discount.

List item on ebay, sells for $450

Drive to friends store, buy item for $250

Drive directly to post office to ship.

Damn that's actually a really good plan

> Read Internet Marketing forums for months
> Ok, let's start it -> made a website reviewing amazon products
> Worked my ass off for a month writing long articles about boring(for me) topics
> English is not my first language so I put extra work in to make it professional
> Placed amazon links, adsense
> Gained traffic through social media

The site made ~100$ in a year. Hosting + domain: 110$
Balance: -$10 -a month from my life (but at least now I know how to make a website)

mfw meanwhile made ~$300 spamming porn links on blogs/forums in three months 'working' a few minutes/day

Now I want to create a website again that is not porn related and I can fully focus on. I'm looking for profitable niches that aren't boring as f*ck.
//Plan B: making a website on how to make money online. Those who can't do, teach.//

another play on this....

buy store gift vouchers using employee discount

use gift vouchers to make purchases... at employee discount rate

double employee discount applied :D

work at local business, don't steal from till

wait till new person starts... start stealing from till whenever they're on shift... stop stealing from till when they get let go...

repeat at random for other new employees

110$? fuck I thought it was only like 13$ a year and that's all (from namecheap)

All those fucking forums are a scam, it's just ethnics selling shit to each other.

Yeah I was an idiot, because I bought a professional hosting with info protection and everything.

Well if most of IM is scam and I can't even make ~$300/month then I'm pretty fucked.
I'm a NEET from eastern europe and I don't want to work full time for $300/month.
Am I a lazy fuck?
What should I do?
What skill can I learn to earn that much without having a boss?
Please don't say coding, I've learned python/java by myself, but it is just not for me. Any idea for a desperate idiot?

Here's one thing that worked well for me.

I build a site for someone, and then stick affiliate stuff on there.

So I charged $850 for a static site, I then charge $120 yearly for hosting and """maintenance""" which includes domain name management (so they can't easily ditch out on me and leave me hanging for hosting costs) and $75 p/h for changes which usually is just an hour but sometimes I have to resize images and dick around so it goes into 2 or 3 hours and then on top of that I take affiliate profit.

The yearly stuff pays for my hosting already so it's only really gain on top of that.

Only done it with 1 client so far (they actually commented that they liked the affiliate shit I put on there), but I'm hoping to get back into this type of web design soon. You can see the profits aren't stellar but it's not horrible for piggybacking on someone else's services.

They actually went out and paid for a new site late 2015 but left their domain name with me so I charged them $120 for the year anyway, but recently I noticed their site was replaced with a "WEBSITE CLOSED" page - sent them a few emails about it and got no response and they're very much still in business so I put the website back online a few days ago.

I sell stuff I have around my house on Craigslist. Just stuff ill never use. Clean it up a little, take a picture with a camera/phone, list it, and then wait. May take a day/month/year, but over time you add more and more items, some sells quickly, some sells slowly, but the ad always stays up until sold. I have been posting stuff I never use for the last 2 months, cleaning it up slightly, and now I ave more free space and am $200 richer.

So find an idiot offline business owner who overpay for a website and don't even know what affiliate marketing is.
K

You'd be surprised mate.

The affiliates actually help my clients in a sense because they sell their services through third parties, so I'm just taking a cut of the 3rd party profits, I don't consider it wholly unethical.

Most people don't care about their website insofar as they have one or know enough about the internet to know better than to buy a new website a year later after paying for one which is driving customers.

The website took me less than an hour to throw together too since it's just static, you don't have to fuck around with Wordpress or coding a site for the back end, I just use mockup software.

pretty sure most places have rules against this

the the biggest or quickest money, but gaurenteed way to make some dollarydoos:

go to craigslist for your city, look through the various for sale sections (Categories that you're comfortable with. ie if you are good with computers cehck out computers, cars > auto parts, etc)

go through EVERY listing, get model numbers/identifiable characteristics (might require emailing the seller for info) and price it on ebay.

Locate the stuff thats almost as low as, equal to, or lower than the cheapest option on ebay, and give them a somewhat lowball offer.

Fore example, if an item is 120 in the CL add, and available on ebay for 100, offer them X.

X= ebay cost - 12.9% + 0.30 - shipping cost

look for listings with non-free shipping so you can get an idea of what the shipping actually is for that item

X is how much that person can get for their item (after all associated fees and shipping)

Now give that CL poster an offer that is below X. the difference between your offer and X will be your profit margin.

If you spend a day and go through -every- ad available, ESPECIALLY ones that have been up for 2-3 weeks, you WILL get takers for your lowball offer.

a dedicated individual can make hundreds a day in inventory profits by doing this if they really put the effort in

TL;DR price match all cl items with cheapest option on ebay, lowball CL and sell on ebay for profit.

One of the things I did in high school fits all the bills

>Found a local patch of clovers near my home
>Collected 200-300
>Cut off and glued 1 leaf to make 4-leaf clovers
>Pressed them and covered them in sealed laminate
>Sold them as "genuine Irish 4 leaf clovers" on eBay for $5 a pop

Not one negative feedback or complaint.

I'm the 4-leaf clover guy above but I also do Amazon Reviews. You're doing it wrong.

>Hosting + domain for low traffic shouldn't cost you more than $20/year
>Amazon reviews should be shorter but with lots of info/stats to gain more upvotes
>Photos and videos are great
>Use Prime for free delivery and select No Rush delivery- You get £1/$1 each time and you can spend this on digital products for review, or just shit for yourself.
>Sell the free amazon shit you get after you're done reviewing it, thus increasing your profit

Amazon reviews and reviews in general are great income if you have spare time or you're clever about it.

I honestly dont know how do you guys choose niche

Here's one, I bought an old Mazda Miata with a ripped soft top and a fucked up quarter panel for $700. Disassembled the car and sold it in parts on some forums, craigslist, and facebook. Ended up making $3030 gross, so like $2330 after subtracting the cost of the car.

*note this isn't really legal without a part selling license

Another note, it took me a few months to sell everything off. It was also a pain in the ass to take the stripped chassis to the metal scrap yard, since it didn't even roll.

honestly that doesn't sound like it would work in my area. No one knows how to repair things. Everything is new

Yeah Miatas are pretty popular here.

I've been on Veeky Forums for a year. This is the very first time I have read a post and been genuinely very impressed.

Fucking well played mate.

I think I'm going to try this
