In HOI4 is there a way to set like a "permanent frontline" in the planning tool? I don't want my frontline to expand because one of my allies advanced and is now on the way to be pocketed.

Do you have the HPM virus? It makes your POPs eat cement which kills them and then crashes your game by building liquor factories in every factory slot in every country. I actually had to go to Paradox HQ and have Johan and Wiz remove it for me. Nasty shit.

Don't pick Finland. You should have taken a hint from the tutorial and tried something like Italy, you are powerful with powerful potential allies and have lots of easy places to expand

In the case of older HoI games I've heard that playing USA or USSR is basically "do whatever the fuck you want" mode because of their massive industrial capacity.
Try playing around in south america as Brazil or Argentina if you want a more isolated campaign.

General fixes guy, when I try right click on Machukuo, the diplomacy map breaks. It's impossible to check the diplomatic status of Machukuo using the map mode for some reason.
