Previous thread:

BONES!
WALKING BONES!

2nd for my pawn, best pawn.

3rd for Ashe is fag

Not really. It's only 1830 characters long. You can remove the old pawn sheet since we have the new one.

I never understood why you faggots keep making steam groups for the generals. They're pure cancer, so you can delete that, too.

Asking again since nobody caught it last thread.

I found DD:DA on Steam for £14, is the Steam port a decent port? What games are similar to DD?

PC version definitely runs better than any other, and isn't too demanding on computers. It's a little hard to say what games this is similar to, but the closest I can think of is maybe if you imagine Skyrim but with really good combat and a story that seems straightforward but follows with a nice twist.

This never gets old.

>imagine Skyrim but with really good combat and a story that seems straightforward but follows with a nice twist
So basically not Skyrim at all. Why the fuck do you people keep comparing this game to skyrim? They are not similar at all. Is it because of the dragon?

I guess dark souls to a certain extent. In DD, the gear you can wield is limited by your class. Another game this would be similar to is monster hunter.

Probably the open-world medieval fantasy elements.

>So basically not Skyrim at all. Why the fuck do you people keep comparing this game to skyrim?
>I guess dark souls
So basically not dark souls at all. Why the fuck do you people keep comparing this game to dark souls? They are not similar at all. Is it because of the dragon?

That's the most generic shit ever, dude. Then this game is also similar to kingdom of amalaur, all of the the elder scrolls games, that one game that was set in the lord of the rings universe, the witcher games, dragon age, ...

But it is similar. Combat that relies on using different weapons and each weapon having unique skills (okay, not really all of them) is similar to dark souls' combat.

>You can remove the old pawn sheet since we have the new one.

lol no

Why not?

It's alright, can't search for pawns by user name and it's PC players so the community is not as good. I don't care about framerate, ect personally.

>is similar to dark souls' combat.

But the pace is totally different, same go for the controls and enemy behaviour.

Well, yes, they are not exact clones. But as far as giving similar games goes, dark souls and mohun would be the games that resemble the most to dd. Definitely not fucking Skyrim.

Dragon's Dogma resembles many Capcom action games from the past 20+ years, with with a nice little open world.

When will Dante appear in DD? Also guns

Definitely not Dark Souls where you're locked into every animation and the pace and movement speed are both far slower.
This is all debatable.

>This is all debatable.

I don't anyone wants that.

Are you not locked into animations in dd? I can't seem to remember being able to break the Dragon's Maw animation or any other skill animation.

Dodge roll can escape many and Instant Reset can escape all. Not to mention that you can pull up your shield in the middle of a lot of attacks.

Dude, all of those things are class specific.

I wish the seneschal was a real boss fight. I just about shit my pants on my first blind playthrough when the cloak came off and it was savan, then I almost shit my pants again when the cloak came off and it was ME. Why does he die in one hit? You can actually just hit him once then go get a snack while you wait for him to stop talking.

Were they scared people would give up and not get to the end or something? Nigga I killed death incarnate, I think I'd be fine if the seneschal was a bit challenging.

Seems dead today but I'll ask anyway, can a modder user make Golden Belt look like Asura Armor?

...

I think that fight was meant to be more symbolic than challenging, but I completely agree with your main point, they should have had SOMETHING challenging as the actual final boss battle.

>This work was deleted.
Fuck.

I could use some feedback /ddg/ which do you think look better, brown eyes or yellow eyes?

Thanks a lot to the people who have hired her btw, I'm pretty sure all her hires have been from people in here.
She's almost at max vocation now, and I know all Fighters should have Dragon Maw.

yellow

Brown.

Neither

Seems that artist is trying to go pro, so the fan stuff gets flushed down the drain for the most part.

SMASH THOSE BONES

...

Let's SCATTER those bones!

Well, that was easy.

I prefer the brown eyes honestly but Yellow might look good depending on what she's wearing.

I like the brown eyes more. The gold eyes would work a bit better if she had an obscure/anime hair color such as silver.

Can I still get Mercedes as my beloved if I do every quest (other than the duchess's)?
When should I give her the ring?

Thanks for the feedback m80s, I like both colors but I think
>The gold eyes would work a bit better if she had an obscure/anime hair color such as silver.

this is a pretty good point; gold eyes would probably look better with a different hair color, or maybe if she looked a bit more intimidating overall.

Mercedes will not become your beloved if you talk to any NPCs with max affinity after her. What this means is that after the quest where she disappears from the game, you have to avoid speaking with the other NPCs unless you really, truly, must. Sadly, this includes quests most of the time as well. I recommend you give Mercedes the Arisen's Bond just after the duel in Pride Before a Fall.

post fruity pebbles

>find cute looking eyebrows in character creator
>they also change the face structure to look more caveman-like

Making female characters is hard.

isn't it the worst

I hate it man.
That is probably the ONE thing Dark Souls character creator did better; you have control over type of eyebrows and the brow itself.

It's the same with head shape too
theres a lot of options but not a lot are good

The ones on the bottom row have to be intentionally bad. I mean... Goddamn, they are pretty horrendous.

yeah I wish there were sliders and other shit too

Here we go again, back to the Lost City in another attempt to vindicate my slowly flagging dignity.

postem

Post Drows?
Or post squads?

squads, pawns, anything

Current squad.
On our way to REMOVE CULT

...

>removing cult
maker bless thee user

gib pawn name and level.

It will happen r-right?

You know what...I think it will, but not for a very long time. I'm talking 2018 - if that. It sold to well on PC to be ignored. Remember, developers don't care how long you play the game, only that you brought it. It's sales numbers that count, and they were promising.

The pic can be misleading cos, my pawn is the one on the right with the brown hair.

What a shameless harlot. No wonder that the game forces you to be her Beloved

>no cutscene where you put her to the sword for getting you tortured

The one with the shield? Gib.

She's the only video game character I can think of that has no appeal whatsoever.

>The one with the shield? Gib.

Verdandi - Level 30 Fighter.

I got her as my love interest the first time I played this on PC
The second time around I made sure to bully her during that quest and I gave the Arisen's Bond to Mercedes to make sure I wouldn't get Aelinore again.

>lady removing cults

yay!

time to make a new arisen.

Why would anyone choose her as a Beloved? Heck, even Fournival would be better

qt. Ladies are busy with removing cults while men are busy removing harlots

At least the pawns are concerned to what happened to you after you sneak out of the dungeon

I wonder what they were even doing that whole time.

I wish the chimera tutorial was skipable

But it was? Just jump off the cliff if you really want to skip

The other major beloved quests don't necessarily max out their affinity. If you give them liquid effluvium before doing the last parts of their quests, you can easily keep them from becoming your beloved. I actually got Mercedes my first playthrough in spite of not using liquid effluvium, while still finishing all the potential beloved questlines.

This may have had something to do with how I kept tossing Aelinore into sewer water, but I'm not sure the game is that smart.

Well, I learned something new.

Not that guy but I think if anything other than the Chimera kills you, you have to start over.
I know because I was once killed by the Dragon's fireball, which I think is literally the first thing that can possibly kill you in the game

I did not know it was possible to be hit by that.

kek I learned that the hard way precisely because I was trying to rush through the tutorial as fast as possible.

I remember how I always throw and kick Aelinore in the sewers, then Pablos got kidnapped and Julien appeared in the ending. Weird

What. Really? I thought if you die you can skip tutorial

>there are Arisens who do not like harlots and getting whipped

>What. Really? I thought if you die you can skip tutorial

I'm afraid not.
I know for a fact that if the fireball kills you, you have to start over, and I also know that if you die to the Chimera you get sent to the main game anyway, but I honestly don't know what happens if you die to anything in between like harpies or goblins.

Now, the Hydra's head escort quest? THAT shit should definitely be skipable.

Lady has been doing great btw; she is wrecking monsters and she needs no babysitting at all.

Wonderful. Makes sense too, she has my old pawn's brain/knowledge.

Playing with good pawns is a nice experience, I wonder if things would have been better without any pawn training in the game. Not that I mind having it, raising pawns is also fun.

I want to rape my pawn so bad.

I made a new arisen and right out of character creation, in the cutscene where you meet the dragon I had to turn away - she was too horrible to behold.

I can't help but think my arisen got raped by the guards.

lol post this pawn

Put it all in a pastebin

I'll put you in a pastebin.

Careful Arisen, our foes have the advantage.

nice capture, OP.

God, I love low/midish level fashion.

It's honestly making me want to restart, switching my pawn and arisen around.

Go for it.

Do it m8
That's what I did (sort of) and one of the best parts about it has been watching my pawn doing Arisen cut-scene expressions.

Will DD2 benefit from mountain climbing mechanics?

For a second I thought Madeleine was one of your pawns, and I was about to ask how you found a back pack.

For that one guy wanting naked Norman Reedus,
I put him up as level 200 strider.

I wonder if they put world roaming bosses in this.
