This is the literal opposite of true, Genji and Tracer hitboxes lag behind and don't change until the animation finishes.

Anyone who's played either character more than a few minutes has experienced getting killed in the middle of it because you got shot where you used to be

eh, he's still way too weak if the enemy team has a reaper, tracer, gengi, winston, or anything else that is good at flanking. Or if your team doesn't have a reinhardt. Or if you're supposed to be defending a point.

It's a dumb casual shooter like TF2. It's not competitive at all. However it does attract the League of Legends generation who will pretend it's competitive, and they will annoy the shit out of you with talk about "pro games" or whatever.

the lag actually favors you when you use a dash like that as opposed to favoring the shooter like usual. it's pretty uncommon to die in the middle of a dash unless you do something dumb like dash straight towards a hanzo with a fully charged arrow lined up

why when i'm on the loosing side is it with 1 second to go or when we were at 99% ?

I've dashed behind walls and I've died to Hanzo arrows, with the killcam showing I never dashed at all

you don't die in the middle of the dash, you die where you were before you dashed because your hitbox lags behind instead of instantly jumping forward

why wouldn't count as a loss?

i mean it happens sometimes but i feel like my odds are much better with dashes than it is with the usual walking. i die around corners just trying to walk around them to soldiers and such literally all day. plus blizzard confirmed that that's how dashes work directly

Mercy is only good for her ult (which I think she STILL gains too rapidly). Lucio is a way better healer and team sustainer.

Hanzo arrows are projectile-type and thus have hitboxes that are just lenient enough to be able to hit people that are behind a wall but close to the opening

Tick-rate limits dashing as well - so you'll see yourself dash but the server already registered you getting hit

Combine these two and you get your problem

when I started playing I had a 60% winrate and it's been slowly going down lately, now at 53%
if matchmaking doesn't get any better I'm gonna go below 50
