When the mod was made the new governments didn't really affect the game, but with events and decisions tied to a certain gov. type for certain countries it screws it up, like the ottoman dynasty getting overthrown and going apeshit because some shitter in the libyan desert decided to get infected

First, if you haven't seen it before or need a refresher, here's a general overview of the start dates which are up for selection and some background about what makes them interesting:
REMEMBER: once again, this has nothing to do with who I'll play as. The Anarchy could be the chosen start date and I could play some tribal chief in Finland; this is only about what the historical background of the world I'll be playing in will be like.
I've allowed multiple poll choices this time around, so you can vote for however many start dates you're interested in, in case your first or second choice don't pan out in the end.

It creates incredibly unrealistic end world where Byzantium/the Karlings usually dominate piecemeal, it would necessitate a massive investment in time and autism on my part, and my game would slow to a crawl. 1066 is even far more time than I'd like to spend, but a lot of people called for it so I included it. I'm not affiliated with any one mod yet, I just make them for people who request them, and they usually end up in /gsg/ fixes or Misc Campaign Guy's mod.
Reinstalling HPM didn't work so I verified V2 files on steam and now I can't even launch HPM on its own.

To HPM or anyone with a lot of free time to waste or an interest in modding/debugging.
This is my savefile as Persia. Due to a bug in Victoria 2, a state that I conquered in Afghanistan has remained a slave state. However, even though there is a 30-50% Persian/Hazar population, I cannot get any accepted bureaucrats. The only ones who promote are Pashtun ones, which results in a 0% administration. HPM has ackowledged the problem so far, but he doesn't face the same bug as me.
