The only recent fighting game that had an actual well balanced cast and had a wide variety of characters winning event was Ultra SF4

I honestly think they are not putting up a patch for the game yet because of EVO coming up. They don't want to piss off players who been practicing in the current version of the game. But, at the same time by not doing that they are losing new players because of people going for the top tier characters making matches boring to watch and play because you going to keep on seeing the same characters often.
You guys do realize there were 7 characters in last years guilty gear top 8 and the american was using a "bottom tier" character

I can't see 2S vacuum coming back. Both because of the way 6K is and because it will give Pot a reliable combo into ICPM on everyone but Elph.
