Something like Animal Crossing would probably suffice, but I guess with shuffled personalities as opposed to how they're locked in AC. Like if the Digimon farm was basically like Animal Crossing and then the rest of the game was a big open world RPG it'd be great. It would take more work then I think any company that makes Digimon games would ever do though.

No difficulty, you can literally make bosses as weak as regular enemies from the first areas with G *stat* Set skills, except with a shitload of HP.

Missing evolutions for no reason, everyone can become Numemon but Veemon's line stops at Veemon.
Encounter Rate is awful, but iirc there's items to avoid it later so it's ok, for about 10% of the game.

You can really see how much Godzilla influenced Digimon in this movie. I wish more child/rookie Digimon were massive like Agumon. Guilmon was close and Piyomon in Savers was massive.
