There is plenty of GG dusts that look like lows. The moves are made to look like they are launching up since that is what dust does. Xrd added a huge orange glow so I don't know what more they can do to make it obvious.

SF5 is on the biggest console platform and PC yet somehow the future seems very bleak. Autism is one explanation but look at /v/ right now, there's clearly a lot of autism in the Sony and PC camps as well.
With Tekken bringing the X boys perhaps it's the only chance to preserve the fgc? CEO has already fallen to party games, EVO is on the brink with 3 of them. Is there any hope?
