The gun is some sort of felt cut-out, but yeah it comes with it. It's adorable, and worth a buy if you're in to that kinda stuff.

i get that but my main issue is the lack of consistency in gameplay. spiders of all kinds move erratically, consumables have no way to be obtained regularly meaning you can become weaker and weaker due to the scaling health, and when you get a good run it feels samey, blasting through everything has no challenge meaning its either fucking bullshit or a cake walk, there is no escalation

Here is a tip if you want a challenge in BoI, take soy milk and use every pill you get right away, even if you know it is bad.

The alien engine is the most fun weapon in Gungeon. Great damage too.

The biggest downside here is how the networking works: the host client will slow itself and other players down when one player is lagging, similar to how it did in Wasteland Kings Together (which was made by the same modder). It also requires a legal copy of NT since it piggybacks off the Steamworks API, so it sucks to suck if you don't own a copy yourself.

horwhoshisname has been doing co-op twitch streams if you want to get a good scope of how it runs. Shit to look forward to.

Where is the person who was working on that 1 mod for Nuclear Throne with all the different bandits and an actually intelligent AI? I wonder what their progress on it is like, or if they stopped since /ntg/ is no more.

My progress has been relatively slow recently. I say "I don't have anything worth showing," that's because I've been cleaning up the game internally while working on bosses and enemies. I still need to make a new sprite for this guy since I don't want to piggyback off of Nuclear Throne assets (as in, post-WK) -- How does a giant grasshopper/locust sound to you guys?

Z collisions work pretty well, btw. I set up an idiot-proof system for them, but I will soon prove to myself that I am still an idiot when I fix it again.

Also, I got the Body Snatcher working a very long time ago. I just need to make his ability look nicer, got a few ideas in mind for that.

Setting up the snatching ability the way I did opened the door to multiple Active abilities (since it's assuming direct control of enemies and slapping his active over theirs). I think I'm gonna rock that and make the IDPD Trainee's ability to have multiple abilities.

Looking good, I can't wait for you to be finished. I will be sure to download it right away.

Anyone doing the NT daily? If so, how are the mutations and weapon drops like?

Why can't I like EtG?
I've put in like 30 hours got 3/4 of the bullet and killed the dragon a couple of times. But every time I start it up I'm starved for keys and get uninteresting guns and it makes the first few floors feel like a slog so i never want to play more than one run.

Have you bought guns from the shop? The game is kind of slow until you unlock/buy more guns. It is a really fun game to play when you do get interesting runs, but I do agree with you that some of them are pretty boring.

Maybe you are just unlucky with items

I feel a better way to do it would be.

Lower Tier guns have much higher ammo.

Higher tier guns have much more DPS/Special effects.

As is, with the ammo system, you're always overusing one gun since the way ammo drops actually punishes you for mixing it up. The ammo system needs a change, make ammo like 3 times as common but only refill 1/4 of the ammo.

As well as this, guns should be more commonly stocked in the shop.

i just beat mega satan today, the power set i had to beat him lmao it was glorious

What did you have?

Guppy, mega tears, scythes, chocolate milk, krickets head, and a bunch of others that just made my damage so large that it took only a minute to kill mega satan. Oh and I did this all on hard mode. Finished all of my Isaac Hard modes now I am working on all the other characters.
