So I cant pick which healer I like /xivg/ for dungeons. I know it doesnt matter much but I spend a lot of time there. The only one I have at 60 is AST. I like its cards for making people feel stronger but I cant help but feel it doesnt contribute as much personal DPS and the healing is a little situational. SCH probably gets more DPS in because of the fairy but most of its healing skills seem unnecessary or convoluted for 4 mans. WHM seems like the most efficient healing/DPS but I'm worried it'll get boring. Any advice?

Got DRG and MNK to 60. Both feel sort of weird. MNK seems spastic and kind of shitty, but more fluid.

While DRG feels a lot more static and clunky, but I don't feel like I'm playing DDR constantly. Which is better if I want to start getting into end game?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Monks personal dps does not outweigh what a DRG brings to a group (litany). ESPECIALLY if the monk makes any kind of mistake and their dps goes into the fucking shitter.

Don't let reddit fool you otherwise, monks are total dead weight when they aren't top dps, because you could have something else filling that spot, that either brings more group utility, OR is safer and easier to pull big numbers on (BLM).

But it really comes down to group comp, and the 100% ideal group comp right now does not involve a monk. Make of that what you will.

This, if you aren't the highest dps as a monk, you gon get axed. Whereas DRGs and other dps have some leeway, monks do not. Their sole purpose to be there pulling the highest dps, because that is ALL they can do, outside of the rare occasion traited mantra is a msut.
